Why make this blog?

When I was young, my parents told me to be seen and not heard. This made me a keen observer and, in general, helped me throughout life. Now, being over 50, I have many thoughts. Some are similar to those that many people have, while others are, well, more unique. This website will help me explore and document those thoughts, which are my thoughts or, more specifically, RB's thoughts.
